My Son’s Humor | My Sunday Snapshot #8

Hi, welcome to My Sunday Snapshot 8! My son, Adam, and I get together once a week for a movie and dinner. The movie is either on Netflix or Prime Video. Dinner is usually some sort of homemade dinner, not frozen dinners or take out. However, we did get Casey’s pizza this week. Have you ever had Casey’s pizza? IMO- it’s the best! Our movie (one I selected this time), DeepWater Horizon.

Adam is a typical young man. I have to remind him that I do need to use the ‘ladies room’ occasionally. So I tell him to be sure nothing is laying around in the bathroom he may not want me to see. This time when I had to use the restroom, the image above show’s the scene I saw. My son’s humor!

Erika had called and asked to meet for breakfast last weekend. We are always pleased to met with them! Once finished the grand girls wanted to come out to the farm and see the baby calves.

Briella wanted to get out of the truck. She thought she was a cow whisperer!

Hi, this week my Sunday Snapshot shot was provided after church services. I did not think of anything until I got into my car to leave. It was then that I caught sight of it and then laughed!!

The above image is the welcome sign to the church. This is not an uncommon sign for most businesses and churches to have, right?! Well, then when I left it was when I saw the backside.

Pink is More than a Color

Pink is More than a Color.

Hi, pink is one of my favorite colors. I have favorite colors for different reasons. For example, when I play board games, I always pick the green pieces. Did you ever play the one called, ‘Sorry or Trouble‘? My kids always knew, green was mine! 🙂

Let me tell you how pink became one of my favorites. It actually snuck up on me. That’s right, snuck and not sneaked! It started with the tape dispenser. I bought a black dispenser. At our previous house my husband and I shared a desk and all was fine and dandy. Until we moved into our new to us home. We now have two desks, his & her’s. My husband has taken over this dispenser.

You might be thinking, no big deal. And you are probably right. Well, next I bought one of those bluetooth speakers that work with my phone. I use the speaker mainly in the summer while poolside or working in the yard. That speaker disappeared. Then resurfaced at one of our family gatherings, Kevin had latched onto it!

It took a bit of time, but I found a solution. The solution is the color pink! Pink was beginning to be a favorite for me when I was shopping for electronic organizers. I was pretty bored with just gray and black colors to choose from. Well, I found one in pink! So score for me! Well, when I replaced my speaker and tape dispenser, they made pink ones. So I replaced mine with pink ones. Kevin, I know will not latch onto pink. 🙂
