Semi Retired | My Sunday Snapshot #32

Hi, welcome to My Sunday Snapshot! I am finding more and more things to do now that I am semi retired. Going from 40 hour work week to 20 hours is giving me so much more time to do as I wish and not because I have to. After my morning bus route, I stopped into the public library to work on my site and seen this poster.

Heck, yes. I am so doing this. I chose to paint a rock. This rock!

The evening was an absolute blast. I met new friends. Laughed. Laughed a lot! And best of all, I have the rocks as keep sakes of a fabulous memory. What was even better, it was free!

Are you retired or at the semi stage, same as me? What are some of the things you enjoy the most with your added personal/home time?

Have a wonderful week!

Take Care. Best wishes, Debra

    1. It was therapeutic! Just this week I asked my youngest grand daughter if she ever painted a rock. She hasn’t. I’ve decided that’s going to be on our to do list!

  1. I haven’t seen as many painted rocks in the wild lately. I did leave one of my books at a Little Library with a whole garden of painted rocks this summer. You did a great glossy job!

  2. I painted rocks with my grandchildren over the years. It’s fun! Congratulations on being “semi retired”–enjoy the extra free time!

    1. Hi, Pat. I had more fun than I ever thought. Met some really nice ladies. Planning on going in October. I just might paint a rock to look like a pumpkin! The semi-retirement is a real enjoyment!
      Have a wonderful week.
      Take care and best wishes.

    1. Hi, Patrick. I’ve been slowly cleaning my house with my extra time. It’s been nice. Thank you for your consistent visiting my site. This is very much appreciated.
