Realistic | My Sunday Snapshot #27
Hi, welcome to My Sunday Snapshot 27! I had a lunch date with my friend, Cris, yesterday. I had taken her wedding pictures last year. We try to get together every 2 to 3 months. The Legends is half way for us to meet. Wonderful place to meet. After lunch we walked thru the moll and visited many of the stores. Girls and shopping, what else can I say 🙂
Checking out several clothing stores, we finally went into Maurices. I typically shop Wal-Mart, yep. Well, the one thing I noticed was all the signage. Not just here, but at all the clothing stores. It was here, I saw more realistic posters. The featured image, in my opinion, is a better representation of the ‘average’ female person. They had the slender models in other posters. It was just refreshing to see ‘this’ poster and the one below. I felt more comfortable seeing them 🙂
Have a wonderful week!
Take Care. Best wishes, Debra

Pictures can produce so many different emotions and feelings. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Share your fun and interesting image from the past week.
Yes, I agree. The shape of the people in the street is very different to most posters….
Yes!
Progress is being made, which in my view is a good thing.
Hi, Patrick. It was such a welcoming sign for me. I felt comfortable!
Take care and best wishes.
I agree with you about showing the clothing on the average American rather than some super-model. Looking like a supermodel is not something we should strive for. With the exception of a very few who are naturally built that way, many supermodels are starving themselves. This needs to stop. (Well that turned into a rant!)
I get it, totally agree!
Take care and best wishes.
