So Many Worms! | My Sunday Snapshot #46

Hi, welcome to My Sunday Snapshot! While walking thru the zoo enjoying the spring breezy weather, I looked down and thought I saw worms. Many worms! Actually they are called, Catkins. This link is for the AI Overview explanation for catkins. Should you visit the link, there is a second link to click for the complete description. Very interesting.

No wonder my allergies are out of control, Even still, I do enjoy Spring.

Have a wonderful week!

    1. These are not really worms, rather catkins. The flowers that pollinate and cause my allergies to make my eyes itch and be red! 🙂
      Thank you for visiting!

    1. Hi, Violette. These are the flowers on trees like oak, willow and birch. These flowers are wind pollinated cause my allergies to be very active. They do though look like worms!

    1. Hi, Patrick. These do look like worms, but are not. Flowers typically found on willow, birch and oak trees. Culprit of allergies!
      Have a wonderful week.
      Take care and best wishes.
